Personal Data Processing Policy

1. General provisions

The personal data Operator is the Owner of Wings. This Policy applies to registered Users, website visitors, persons included in couple profiles and people who contact the Operator.

The Operator processes data only for specified lawful purposes, does not combine databases for incompatible purposes, takes steps to keep data accurate, and stops processing when the purposes are met unless further retention is required by law.

2. Data categories and sources

Data is obtained from the User, where legally justified from the second participant in a couple profile, automatically from the application and device, and from sign-in providers selected by the User.

• account data: email, cryptographically hashed password, account and external-authentication identifiers;
• profile data: display name, profile type, date of birth, gender, height, weight, appearance, description, mood, dating goals and interests;
• location: selected country, region and city and, with device permission, coordinates used to determine or update location;
• photos, avatar, verification selfies, video, voice messages, files and gallery Content; photos are not used for biometric identification without a separate lawful basis;
• private messages, groups, Live feed posts and replies, channel posts and comments, reactions, connections, privacy settings, complaints and blocks;
• activity: profile and Content views, delivery and read status, presence, and VIP and coin transaction history;
• technical data: IP address, request date and time, app version, device type, operating system, language, diagnostics, network and security information.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed to register and authenticate Users, operate accounts and profiles, discovery, the Live feed, channels, messaging, galleries, moderation and other requested functions under the Terms and, where required, consent.

Data about the other participant in a couple profile is processed based on the account owner’s confirmation that consent exists. Processing may be restricted if that confirmation is absent or an objection is received.

Support, complaint handling, security, fraud prevention and diagnostics use communications, technical data and activity as necessary to perform the Terms, comply with law, and pursue the legitimate interests of the Operator and Users in a secure Service.

Data required for accounting, tax, litigation and other mandatory records is processed under law. Informational and marketing messages are sent only with the required consent and can be disabled in settings.

4. Publicity, privacy and messages

Profiles, open photographs, Live feed posts and personal-channel posts are visible to other Users to the extent selected by the User and provided by the interface. Available settings can restrict profile, visit and gallery visibility and incoming messages.

Messages, attachments and private galleries are accessible to selected participants and are technically processed for delivery, storage, synchronization, complaint-based moderation and security. Wings does not publish private messages but cannot prevent recipients from saving or disclosing them.

Before publishing or sending information about another person, the User must have a lawful basis. The Operator does not regard personal data as publicly available merely because it was placed in the Service.

5. Processing operations and recipients

Processing includes collection, recording, organization, accumulation, storage, correction, retrieval, use, access, transfer, restriction, deletion and destruction, with or without automation.

Authorized Operator personnel and providers of hosting, databases, file storage, email delivery, geocoding, error monitoring, moderation and information security may receive access only as necessary and must preserve confidentiality. Data is disclosed to public authorities only upon a lawful request.

The Operator does not sell personal data. Processor lists, database locations and cross-border-transfer records are maintained internally and supplied to data subjects where required by law.

6. International Service and cross-border transfers

Wings is an international Service. Public profile, Live feed and channel information, and messages sent by a User may be available to selected Users in other countries. Consider this when choosing settings and publishing materials.

When collecting Russian citizens’ data online, the Operator localizes it where required by law. Before a cross-border transfer, the Operator complies with Article 12 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ, including assessment of the foreign recipient and notification of Roskomnadzor where required.

7. Geolocation

Device coordinates are requested separately through operating-system controls. You may refuse, select a city manually, or later disable access in device settings.

Coordinates are used to determine the current city and provide relevant local Content. Precise location is not shown to other Users unless a separate feature clearly states otherwise before activation.

8. Cookies, local storage and permissions

The Wings website uses necessary cookies to retain the selected language and browser local storage to remember the cookie notice and user preferences. These technologies support requested features; the website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

The application uses secure and ordinary local device storage for sign-in tokens, settings, drafts and cached messages and attachments. Clearing website or application data may reset language and preferences, show the notice again, sign the user out and delete unsynchronized drafts.

Users may delete or restrict cookies and local storage in browser settings. System permissions for notifications, photos, camera, microphone and geolocation are requested only when the relevant feature is used and may be changed in device settings.

9. Retention and deletion

Account data and Content are retained while the Service is used and then until deletion and backup periods end, unless longer retention is required by law, payments, complaint handling or defense against claims.

Technical logs, communications, blocks, payments and consent evidence are retained under internal schedules proportionate to security and rights-protection purposes. Data is destroyed or anonymized when the purpose is met and no other lawful basis remains.

10. Data subject rights

A data subject may obtain processing information; demand correction, restriction or destruction of incomplete, inaccurate, unlawfully obtained or excessive data; withdraw consent; stop dissemination; object where permitted by law; and complain to Roskomnadzor or a court.

Requests must be sent to support@wings-dating.ru and contain enough information to identify the applicant and account. The Operator may request reasonable identity verification. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing and does not require deletion where another lawful basis continues to apply.

11. Security and incidents

The Operator applies necessary legal, organizational and technical safeguards, including access controls, protected transmission, backups, activity and contractor controls, and risk-proportionate restoration measures.

Following an incident, the Operator acts to stop the breach and reduce harm and notifies the competent authority where required by law. Users must use a strong password and must not disclose access credentials.

12. Minors, changes and contact

Wings is intended only for people aged 18 or older. If a minor’s account is identified, the Operator may immediately restrict access and delete the data unless retention is legally required.

The current Policy is published in Wings with its effective date. If changes require renewed consent, the Service will request it separately.
